doodle-banoodle asked: So...I think this was already answered, but what's your favorite Game Grumps video?

I don’t recall getting a question like this, actually!

But.. oh God, that’s really hard to say. I have a LOT of favorites. (and even then, I haven’t had the chance to watch at least one video of each game ever played on GG, much less finish a series.

I could go on with a huge list of my favorites (Deal or No Deal, Punch Out, M&M Party, Pokemon FireRed, which I still need to watch more past episodes of), but to name just one episode… Survivor. That one gets me every time. <333

joshpro-survivalist-blog1 asked: Random question: Are you aware about the fact that the paw pads you draw look like upside down hearts ^-^

Oh yes, hehe! To me, I find that’s what a lot of cartoon paws with the slight ‘curve-ins’ at the bottom look like, but in some cases, I intend to make them look a lot like upside down hearts! C:

philippifox-blog asked: I am THIS afraid that you might never post any FNAF art anymore. :(

I’m made numerous mentions in asks before on my blog, as well as a general announcement, that I am taking an indefinite hiatus/break from drawing FNAF art.
I’m not saying that I’ll never draw it again, as there are occasions I find myself mindlessly doodling the characters, and I’d probably feel comfortable posting any of it -somewhere- again one day. But until then, I have stopped posting/drawing it consistently.

And, I hope this won’t seem too rude or ‘immature’(?) of me, but I may not consistently answer back to folks that ask why I’m not drawing it anymore, or even get he wrong about my absence with FNAF art (like 'I’m never going to draw it again’). As much as I’d like to reply back to folks, it’s getting a bit repetitive for me to answer back to the (generally) same question, as well as publicly post some of these questions when I’ve stated my stance on the matter multiple times before. Folks, really, I am flattered you like my interpretations of the characters (or, possibly, my art in general). I appreciate it all. But I don’t appreciate what some folks do with my work, especially with FNAF, and I want it to stop. It will be a LONG time before I even consider posting anything related to the game again. And I would appreciate folks letting that choice stand. Thank you. :)

drpepperbeans asked: Well this isn't much of a question, just a little something I would like to say to you. I've noticed that people have been giving you a hard time about you drawing FNAF and telling you not to draw it. At least I think that's what they're saying. I absolutely love your FNAF drawings and would be so thrilled if you started drawing it again. Just remember to ignore those haters and do what you love!

Oh no no, it’s not at all that folks have been telling me to not draw it. It’s bad stuff that’s been going on with it, and I chose to stop. (And when may I come back to it? Who knows! But certainly won’t be anytime soon. :) )

And, while I do still love the game/stuff that’s come from it from the fans, it was getting fairly repetitive for me. I do appreciate you (and other folks) liking my work related to the game, though, thank you, :)

noxlumina asked: Do people who just take your art and edit out the watermark not know your art is licensed by a Creative Commons one? Because I'm curious to what could happen if they continued on and monetized your art.

… I’m not aware of anymore folks removing my signature from my art (and certainly hope that’s not a thing), but I feel that’s the case. Granted, I decided to license my work as such maybe… a month or two ago? And I haven’t really made a big ‘announcement’ about it, but regardless, it is on my profiles.

People tend to find this images randomly through image searches, apparently. :X

And I feel I’m still not fully knowledge on the license, but I believe legal action, if not at least hefty consequence, could be taken place if someone tried to do something with my work in a way that does not follow my license.

Which, in this case, I have set under CC BY-NC-ND 3.0 US.

Yes, I’m perfectly fine with folks sharing my stuff around, showing it to others, and so on. I even go so far as to say that as long as it’s not the personal characters (or, OCs, if you prefer) of anyone (be it myself or others), you can use it as an avatar/icon or something on a website.

However, I would sincerely appreciate it of folks always credited properly. I really do not approve of anyone trying to make a profit off of my work. (This, I’m pretty sure I would never give permission for.) And if you really would like to reference heavily off of a drawing I made, I would definitely appreciate being credited back to, and more so to the photo you reference off of. And you don’t intend to profit off of that recreation, given it was direct reference off of an original work by me.

Just.. a lot of technical stuff! Again, I haven’t made a bit announcement about it, but mainly 'cause I figured if folks would see it, they’d perhaps consider what this means about my work before reposting. But.. ah, at this point, not much I can do about it. I still go by my license whole-heartedly (especially with being asked for permission on certain terms), but as long as folks are not trying to make profit off of something I originally created, nor are they passing off anything I’ve originally created (art and/or character wise), I suppose I can’t really complain. <:X

I have a question.

Would any of you support me on Patreon?
The reason I’m thinking about this, is because I’m getting more and more afraid of posting high-resoluted art anymore. I’m resizing my images before posting them, yes, but that doesn’t seem to help again art thieves. They take what they…

From what I hear, Patreon would definitely be the best for that sort thing. It can limit the number of folks that get to your higher-resolutions, while still satisfying everyone to see what you create. And more so, a fairly noticeable watermark never hurt when posting them publicly. (They can be ‘distracting’ for some folks, yes, but it would be completely for good reason.)

However.. I’d still think that you’d have to be careful. Patreon does limit to only those that pay you for your work, but anyone could save those works (I’m likely assuming), so the possibility of someone posting/sharing your work somewhere is still there.

There’s definitely some risk everywhere to posting your work online, but I’d say go for Patreon if you feel you need to! It really could limit the number of folks that get the privilege of seeing the full size of your work to a more 'comfortable’ quantity. <:)

I’m really sorry you have to deal with this as well, Niro. Trust me when I say that your work is inspiring and admirable. You’re got great style and construction with your pieces. But that does not give others freedom to simply claim it as their own, much less repost it (whether or not they know that you don’t approve of that). I hope this dies down for you (and heck, many others) soon! <3
