where I dump my scribbles

Few more days ‘til lovey-dovey hearts day!!

Treat yourself and those you love nicely! (Regardless of if you have a signficant other or not!)

cheatsykoopa98 asked: see? even when you're not drawing about a popular subject, you (and other guys) get stolen, jealous people will always be jealous, so even if I respect your choose, I'd say you shouldn't care so much about it, sorry if I was offensive, that's just what I think

Hehe, that’s easier said than done. As much as I wish I could easily brush off the actions of anyone stealing/claiming a drawing I made as their own, I just can’t.

I can’t truly speak for the extent of every one of them, but artists hold their work very near and dear to their heart. Especially if you make/plan to make a living out of it. And, more times than not, we work hard on our pieces, and like to display them for others to see. So the fact that others would have the lack of consideration enough to take someone’s picture and pass it off as if it was their own creation (or, sometimes even worse, edit it in any fashion) without permission/approval is… fairly appalling to me.

Not only when it happens to me, but other artists. And there’s even that unsettling ‘terror’ that comes to me, personally. The thought that if any other person comes along and sees a thief display your work as if it was their own and they believe them… that kind of stuff hits me hard, makes me feel like the efforts I put toward something were solely for the benefit of someone else (someone who I don’t even know), and.. ugh. It’s just bad feelings haha!

Sorry to go on a tangent there, but I can’t help but to care about that stuff when it happens to me. Yes, it can happen to any of my pieces, no matter the subject, but (assuming this is hinting towards me no longer doing FNAF stuff) it can be helpful to put a lid on things that get most affected. In this case, it was animatronic animals.

(And again, folks, it was getting pretty repetitive for me, it was likely I would have eventually come to a stop of Five Nights art myself.)

Not offensive at all, either! I appreciate he thought/concern in any case. :)

robslompie asked: The Instagram user @I_am_old_hybrid has taken countless artists work and recolored it. Including yours.

Aah, thank you for letting me know. Not just for me, but others as well.

And given the way that this user is actually reacting to folks pointing out how bad this is of them to do, this is really not cool.
(I can’t point out other specific artists pieces who this person has recolored work from, but it would be best to simply report this person, as they are apparently just blocking people for ‘mean comments’.)

Again, thank you for informing me of this!

cheatsykoopa98 asked: hi, Orlando, it's me again, I have to say, I'm really sad about you stopping posting fnaf stuff, I literally started my tumblr account to follow you, to follow your awesome art, I know how it is to get something you've made stolen, but you can't let yourself down just because of that, you have lots of fans that admire you, you can count on us to help you, don't be afraid of being stolen, if you're afraid of everything that might happen to you, you won't do anything of your life anymore

Aye, I apologize to disappoint. It really isn’t my intention to make those that may like my FNAF art upset. But given what would reoccur with it, I wanted to stop it. And by all means, I’m aware there are quite a few folks out there who have actually helped me with these thefts/tracings. (Heck, I would not have known/been aware of pretty much all of them without you folks, and I can’t thank you enough.) But that also made me feel a bit guilty and apologetic to folks.

Guilty, because it was happening fairly often and I don’t want anyone to start being annoyed if they find themselves wanting to inform me of this same problem over and over again.

And apologetic, because my Tumblr would become more of a place for informing of thefts of my art, rather than the art itself, and I’m sure that’s not what folks like to see.

Though, I haven’t stopped posting all my art here. As I’ve mentioned before I’m not just a ‘FNAF artist’, and it certainly isn’t all I draw. It doesn’t tend to pop up as frequent as my Five Nights work, but that’s because I’m not used to regularly posting anything else here. :)

An artist can only expect themselves to be at risk of art theft the very moment they post something online, no matter who they are. Granted, this is not some kind of obligated thing that should have to happen to every one that posts online, but it unfortunately can still happen. But by all means, that definitely doesn’t keep me from doing what I enjoy doing most. Especially if I’d like to make a living out of it as well, at that.

I appreciate the concern, though, thank you! <3

ask-aqua-marine-pony asked: I have come to the conclusion that you do not care about the wellbeing of us, your followers. If you did you would not be trying to kill us with all this cute amazing art. I am THIS close to checking myself into the nearest hospital.

Oh man… I didn’t think my stuff could be THAT lethal!

Haha, if that’s actually the case, can’t say I’ll stop this anytime soon, but I’ll try to go easy on you guys. :Dc

legotfguy asked: I'm one of the guys who followed you because of your FNaF fan art, and while I find it a shame that you have decided not to post any more for the foreseeable future I completely respect your decision. Now, I can't speak for the rest of the FNaF fans who follow you, but I'm going to stay following you because what brought me to your art was the cute drawing style you have, and I greatly enjoy your other works. In other words, came for the FNaF, stayed for all the other cool stuff.

I’m glad you may respect my thoughts, but I do feel need to apologize for disappointing folks with this choice. If not as many folks did what they did with my work related to it, I’m sure I’d still make drawings related to the game on occasion! But since that wasn’t the case (not just for me, but a number of other folks as well), I wasn’t really comfortable with this going on. <:)

And by all means, don’t feel obligated to keep following me if lack of FNAF art from me loses any/all your interest! I’m really still stunned so many folks seem to start following me, much less stick around, for any more of my work, and I appreciate the action in the first place. (It is just a game/one thing, though, so it’s not likely I would’ve stuck with it forever either, haha!)

But again, flattered and appreciate you wanting to stick around; thank you so much! I’ll try my best to keep up with appealing works for folks to see from me! <3

fadoodlesfuff-deactivated201805 asked: I would love to see you draw Snoopy and Woodstock being cute! >w

I actually have drawn those two before, hehe!

Hope you don’t mind me replying with a drawing made a few months ago!

fnaffangirl87-blog1 asked: Im sorry for being a bit annoying....but are you gonna ever make more fnaf art??just asking. Also your art always makes me feel happy 😄 KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

Hehe, not annoying, I assure you!

But, as I’ve mentioned a few times before, I’m taking an indefinite break/hiatus from drawing anything related to Five Nights.Again, this is because of folks continuously tracing/stealing work related to it. (And, this may seem whiny of me, but even reposting/not crediting back to original sources or at least the artists name. Especially when cropping these pics.) As much as I’m appreciative of Five Nights, as that seems to be how more folks became aware of my work for the past few months, it’s also been a source of frustration (and on one particular occasion, some stress) that I didn’t want to deal with anymore.

Given that none of this has happened since I stopped posting/making FNAF work, it’s been reliving. Plus, it’s more satisfying to draw various things, rather than constantly coming back to drawing robotic animals so often. <:)

(I apologize if it seems like I’m constantly bringing up this reply to the reoccurring question of if I’m going to draw FNAF work again, but some folks still seem to be unaware of this, so the occasional reminder doesn’t hurt!

Plus, I do not consider myself a FNAF artist, folks, mainly because I personally feel putting an adjective before the term ‘artist’ could give people more of an impression of what to expect out of you. Yes, there’s no doubt I’ve draw quite a bit of it. Though, honestly, it was more so because more people kept asking for it, rather than me wanting to do it for as long/often as I did.

There’s no doubt, I enjoy drawing it! Like, a lot! It’s fun and flattering to see that folks like my particular interpretations of widely known/liked characters. But I do love variety. And while I do love the characters, it was getting a bit repetitive for me to constantly draw them on, what pretty much was, a daily basis.)

There is a possibility I’ll be more comfortable/willing to post, let alone draw, anything related to it (publicly) at some point. But I can’t say when. Maybe when the hype of the game really begins to die down… so, that could be a while, haha!

In any case, I do greatly appreciate folks wanting to see more of it from me again! Maybe one day (at a more casual basis)!

And thank you so much! It makes me super glad to know my work may make someone feel happy!! <3

artsyghost1-deactivated20160910 asked: Can you sonic or jak or something? And by jAK I mean jak from jak and daxter Or ratchet you don't have to

I hope me choosing Jak and Daxter is fine! I’ve never played any games with these two before, more so barely aware of ‘em, but hopefully I did semi-decent! (Still trying to work on humans/human-esque/realistic anatomy, hehe!)

jillips-ent asked: I plan on using Flash for the first time over the weekend, and I've had one question on Flash that's been in the back of my head for two weeks: What type of project file have you been using on that one project of yours? Actionscript 3.0? 2.0? Is it anything similar to that, or was it made on a template?

I believe that I’ve been trying to make flash stuff in Actionscript 3! (And the only believe the only significant difference difference between the two is that the third allows ‘bones’ in your projects, while the second one doesn’t.)

Hehe, I’m still learning a LOT about the program myself as I just wing at it, so I wouldn’t be the best person to ask about it! But it’s certainly interesting to learn!

(AH, and no templates, I’d think! I really admire frame-by-frame animation, versus ‘puppets’/models. Nothing wrong or bad with 'em, by all means, but I can’t help but to admire traditional animation methods a bit more! 'Tradigital’, even!
