where I dump my scribbles

Anonymous asked: Ok, I hate 4chan, but the reason they wiped your watermarks is twofold: 1) Someone wanted it as their background, and 2) It had 4(!) watermarks in places that made the pic look ugly. I'd say take 1) as a compliment and 2) as a lesson - don't use huge watermarks in future unless you're selling the art. Instead, keep a single subtle copyright. Most folks won't mind that, and those who do will edit the picture anyway. If the $$$ of EA, Sony, etc. can't protect from pirates, what chance do we have?

Hehe, I noticed that in the comments! Understandable to move the bigger watermarks if that seemed to be the case, but would’ve appreciated them at least keeping the significantly smaller signature I do tend to put int eh corner of my images and away from the more main focus in my pictures. I do still like keeping my art credits somewhere. XD

But I do find myself needing to put an actual watermark somewhere around the faces of my FNAF images, as some folks have been reposting my art cropped, so my smaller signature was pretty much for not. Sure, a very small part of me feels somewhat flattered that anyone would go through efforts to get a more cleaner version of the picture, but if they perhaps contacted me personally and asked for a clearer shot to use as their wallpaper somewhere, I wouldn’t have minded removing the excess watermark symbols around the faces and sending it to them.

Just attempts to at least let it be known to folks who the artist of the image is. Could be seen as pointless in the end of the day, but I still think it’s worth a shot. :)

Anonymous asked: What was your first ever drawing of anything FNAF related? Just curious C:

I’m pretty sure it was this!

It was heavily inspired by a picture made by Atryl of Chica  (the very first piece of FNAF I ever saw/indirect reason why I love her) and wanted to do my own take on it!

BUT, I do like to think that my ’Good Night at Freddy’s’ picture was the first FNAF-related thing I made that I actually put a bit more effort into, just to get a better feel of the characters. (Though it was the third piece I’ve made of Five Nights! And after the (what I still consider to be) unbelievable amount of feedback it got, that pretty much kept me going with it. :)

Anonymous asked: How much does Foxy Love Chica...?

Enough to share his loot with her!

Which is saying a lot, cause a pirate reeeally loves his loot.

Anonymous asked: Having stuff taken and posted on 4chan would be the equivalent of me taking your picture, uploading it to imageshack, sending the link to my friends and having them say "stop sending us pictures, we're trying to play DotA" Then I forget account pass.

(Asks sent in before this one.)

Ah, fair enough. <:) I’m not at all aware of how 4chan works, nor do I have that much desire to learn. But all the same, it still rubs off on me the wrong way that anyone would do that.

I’d think it wouldn’t hurt to at least make mention that the artist of said piece does not approve at all. <X) (I know this would be fairly useless! But I’m just silly like that, haha!)

Anonymous asked: But... But guys... They're animatronics, they don't have a gender...

I still say that robot is a gender. Could always go that route too B]

[[They could also identify as being male or female, or even being agender or gender fluid. /shrugs/]]

I know of many folks that  keep Bonnie agender! c:

But anyway you identify ‘em is no big deal, at least to me! I suppose having a set gender tends to be easier for folks when referring back to a character ('he’/'she’ being used to refer to a single person vs. 'they’ which is technically used as plural and refers to more than one person). :)

cartoonbuttplug asked: Whats the point of watermarks if people can just erase them! Not hating on you for WM's, just pissed that people are stupid enough to erase artist credit from pictures.

Oh no no, hehe, I understood your point there!

I’m also pretty dumbfounded by that as well. If anything, I’m joyful if I happen to see a signature/watermark on a piece of art, so I can trace back to the artist and possibly see more of their work! (Heck, that’s how I found out about lot of folks here on Tumblr. Praise FNAF for leading me to many more folks with such quality and talent! <3)

But it really does strike me as disrespectful for any artist. As much as I enjoy seeing full detail of a picture without any sort of watermark over it, it’s actually more relieving to me that there is some form of artist credit on a piece. People out there can be butts and try to steal your art. Or, at the very least, folks spread your art around and no one will know who/where the original artist is, (This, I don’t see much fault in a person in, as there are many instances they themselves may not know where the art came from and would be curious to find out as well. But, still! <:) )

I just really don’t enjoy seeing this sort of thing happening to someone, especially if folks seem to give your work a lot of positive feedback. Artists (of any form) deserve to be recognized for their work and efforts.

I apologize if I seem really egotistical going on about this and making a big fuss over my stuff (as it is not my intention). I still make a lot of art that I’m not entirely satisfied with and I’m still learning many things, but I’ll be darned if I’m not proud enough of it that I would appreciate hearing feedback from folks and see what they’d have to say about my work. Especially given I’d like to have a career that’s based around it.

Aaand just recieved the 4chan link with removal of my signature/watermarks.

I know it’s pretty foolish to feel like this, because people, but I’m really appalled others don’t bat an eye to this sort of thing.

I don’t know how 4chan works, much less have an account, and it’s probably pointless to go through this effort, but if it could at least be mentioned that I don’t appreciate this sort of thing being done with any of my work at all, I’d appreciate it. (But please don’t feel obligated to!! Just thought I’d try my hand at getting that bit of info out to whoever apparently did that.)

(Aah… yeah, this is actually kinda stunning to me. FNAF art of any kind may definitely be put on hold from me. My apologies folks!)

captain-zel-deactivated20150113 asked: No offense to you at all. but I prefer to see bonnie as a girl. I, for lack of a better phrase, "do not condone" homosexuality. Nothing against you (as I know you said you lean towards it) but seeing bonnie as a girl just makes sense to me~

*shrugs* None taken! We all have our different opinions on the matter (heck, with any of the animatronics)!

And, if referring to specifically my Bonnie and the lil’ Freddy-crush thing I have going on, that’s also why I make my Bonnie androgynous; to satisfy all viewer’s preferences. :)

And appreciate you wanting to tell me this! I don’t see homosexuality (or any preference) as a bad thing, but it’s fine to not like it either! Can’t expect everyone to have the same viewpoints on things, just at the very least respect one another!
