Oh my god, imagine Mike the Mongrel and (old) Chica as Duck Hunt from Smash Bros., but instead of working together they’d bicker and attack each other.
Like Mike’s constantly trying to shoot down Chica with explosive barrels and she’s throwing pizza frisbees at his face
Chica, my lovely birdy, is not on here enough! Bonnie, Foxy, get your fluffy butts out of here for the lady!

Give the ‘lady’ more love guys!!

Here is the Artist Showcase from my “Conserve and Survive: A Five Nights at Freddy’s panel” at Youmacon this past Saturday!
I deeply, sincerely apologize if I screwed up any pronouns of the artists and for being so redundant when talking about them all. I was just so excited to get to this part of the panel that my vocabulary shrunk significantly haha. Also for some of the pictures being too bright to show up on the video (but I think I describe the ones that are very bright).
And, it seems that the video was cut off right before the Actor Showcase, which I didn’t tell my friend to film through along with the Artist Showcase. I greatly apologize for that as well, but I promise you that the audience was just enraptured (plus, I don’t think it’d be fair to film a video that already exists on Youtube).
A list of the artists and the actors can be found HERE. The video I used for the Actor Showcase can be found HERE.
I… wow, holy crap, I’m smiling SUPER hard over this. ;//;
Not only big props to how professional and still fun this was ran, but giving each artist a fair amount of showcase and description to their works! Really happy to have seen some of my favorite images from a good chunk of artists I know in this, too! <3
And can I say how much I appreciate you let folks know what the ‘Good Night at Freddy’s’ pic’s initial premise was. It’s common that a llot of folks would look at only the picture and see the crew tricking Mike (or you, the viewer) into thinking they’re sweet when they’re either actually about to kill you, waking you from being trapped in a Freddy suit, or something else along those lines. Which, I don’t mind at all (heck, I get a kick out of it), but I think it’s nice to let folks know what the actual concept of it is supposed to be.
Very flattered that was one of the first pieces you’ve seen from the FNAF as well! Numerous folks have mentioned that before, and it never ceases to make me smile. :)
Just… god, I’m babbling here, this is so great!! <X) Thank you so much for doing this, hun! I at least speak for myself when I say I’m really flattered to have been in this (and alongside all other very talented artists I’m not worthy of being alongside). ;; <3 <3 <3
do you have to pay for sai every year or is it a one-pay thing?

Anonymous
Nope nope! SAI is a one-time pay sort of deal! (And I highly recommend keeping an email of whatever information you receive from it after its purchase, if a situation ever comes up where you need to install it again on a different computer. Would prevent you from having to buy it again. :))
Hello. I'm doing a Foxica song, and I was wondering if it was alright if I could use one if your art pieces? If it's a no, then I understand. I'll be glad to hear back from you. Keep up your amazing art.

Hiya!
Aww, hehe, feel more than free to! I appreciate the want to ask first! (And all I’d request is proper credit given where due.) :)
Hey Orlando do you have any tips on character design? Also any tips on positions? I have trouble wih findings good position for my characters in my art. I usually do a gesture drawing before hand but I always end up trying to do the same position -.- thanks and your art is amazing!

Heya!
To be frank, I don’t think I’m the best person to approach about character design, since I don’t consider that my specialty. <:) Though, I do doodle a lot in one sitting, and it is possible I do start making more of a ‘character’ out of something I just create.
Particularly, I started drawing this lil guy more than once last night while trying to make a thing for another ask I want to get to soon:

I don’t recall having anything specific in mind when making this guy, other than a bunny with hanged ears in a sweater. Then, I just worked in a design for him as I went along. How rounded to make the cheeks, how to shape the teeth, the legs/feet, etc. It all just comes to me as I go!
Not the most helpful of advice, I know, but I’m weird like that! <:’D
And with different poses, I also wing at! I pretty much make a random line of action when starting my sketch, and build off of there! Apologies for the very quick (and bad) sketches here, but if it helps give an idea of what I mean:

And L.O.A. can lead to many different directions for a character, other than simple stance! But don’t be afraid to branch out with it a bit more! Buff out the chest, bump up the torso, make a character stretch, slouch- there is no limit! <3
(Hehe, and thank you so much! <3)
I admit it. I was the anon who asked if you were nce. I really like your art, but I was too scared to tell you to keep up the great work. That takes us to my question. When you see an artist do great work, do you get really nervous when you try to tell them something or compliment them?
Aw, hehe, no need to be afraid to tell me anything like that! Really flattered and appreciate the thoughts. <3 :)
And personally… ah, I’d actually have to say not really. Ask me about two years ago, I definitely would’ve said that I’d be super nervous about trying to tell another artist I admire them.
Nowadays, though, if I feel more compelled to make a comment on an artists’ new piece and say how much I love it, let alone their work in general, I just do! It’s pretty much always at the convenience of them posting new works that I would comment (as I’m sure they get messages that go on about how much they inspire other folks all the time and I wouldn’t want to bother them with my words), but I’m not nervous about it!
I suppose I’ve started to observe others artists’ personalities and their ‘limits’ to compliments. Some greatly enjoy them and love to receive that continuous feedback, others are VERY shy about it and may actually edge away from too much of it. If you’re still nervous about wanting to say something to an artist, I’d say try to find where in that range an artist is about compliments and just go for it!
I can’t speak for others like myself, but I do really appreciate and enjoy any possible compliment(s), let alone comment(s) in general that I may receive. Granted, sometimes I don’t think I deserve as many as I receive and the extent of each, but I DO appreciate them.
I’d like to make it known I’m generally open to hearing ideas and comments folks may have to tell me though, be them positive or perhaps even not-so-positive. While I may not be able to get back at every single one of them, I do try to satisfy as many folks as I can with what I do.
So as an ending note, thank you again for wanting to ask about my overall attitude and to tell me your thoughts on my art! I really appreciate it! (And I’m sure any other artist would, too!) <3
Sorry if you answered this before, or just didn't want to answer it before, but what gender are you?

Anonymous
No apologies necessary, hehe! I’m female, and identify as such! :)
(There are times some may refer to me with male pronouns, though, given I refer to myself as the name of my character ‘Orlando’ online, which I don’t get offended by either! It happens! <3)
So.. let me get this straight. You: the epitome of awesome, talented, nice, and funny are only 16 years old. You have talent of someone years older than you, but you don't have a job at like Disney or DreamWorks? Have you ever thought of becoming an animator in your immediate future? Because I would love to buy tickets to your premiere animated feature OAO
Aah.. too flattered at those compliments, first off, thank you. <://)
Though, hehe, I agree with half of all that! Indeed, I’m only 16 and I have no job for any animation industry (… yet, I would hope). :)
I do want to become a storyboard artist, at least!… At least, I’m pretty sure I do! There are probably tons of other art jobs that go within the animation process that I am unaware of, but from what I’ve seen storyboard artists are responsible for, that seems like something I could get behind! But I’d love to learn animation itself, for sure! Heck, I enjoy animatics! <3 (But goosh, I don’t think I have that much skill to make any interesting short or film for others to see! :’D)
