Hiya! Hehe, gosh, thank you so much!
I’m honestly still really shocked that particular pic got as much attention as it did. It was really SUPER rushed and I spent a little over an hour and a half on it, I didn’t think to focus more on it’s quality. Wish I could’ve gone back and maybe fixed it, but folks like it, so ah! :)
And I’d love to do something like that again one day! I’ve been pondering another sort of ‘first-person’ view thing with the FNAF crew, hopefully I’ll get my lazy butt to actually mess around with the idea again really soon.
But thank you so much for the kind words and thoughts!! Really appreciate it! <3
I know I’m way late with making a post like this, but I was told sometime last week that spacemandilly (John R. Dilworth, creator of Courage the Cowardly Dog) posted a page of Courage doodles I did a good six or so months ago on his Tumblr.
Honestly… I’m still fairly shocked by that, and even embarrassed, as I’m still not all satisfied with how those came out. <:)
Not sure if it’s very likely you’ll notice this post, sir, but I’m honored that you even saw that, let alone wanted to post it to share with others. I’m just… touched.
I do hope to finish this second set of Courage doodles I have sketched out here soon, but I wanted to give another try at the silly little mutt now, and perhaps save myself by showing some possible improvements in my art.
But, again, just… thank you. <3
I caved. Here it is! A Day earlier then promised <3
I Hope you guys like it! Some really talented people dedicated their skills to make this film happen. This is my favorite song, and I wanted to try to express how vibrant and inspiring it is to me through animation.
Enjoy werewolves and catchy tunes!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN <3
Hiya! Aww, hehe, and thank you!
(WOW, my initial response to the question vanished. :’D) But yes, I keep my pen tool on 100 opacity, always! Be it sketch, outline, color; all 100!Hehe, the art program I use has a stabilizer feature, so it helps with keeping my lines more straight! But despite that, I simply try to keep a steady hand! (I tend not to worry about keeping my lines straight during a sketch phase, though, since it’s pretty much chicken scratch anyhow!)
-If you’re referring to art programs, Paint Tool SAI is what I use! On rare occasion, though, I try to dabble with Manga Studio 5! And even then, that’s when I fiddle around with my Cintiq, which tends to be another rare occurrence these days as well. :’D
-My father was a sort of freelance artist when I was young and he initially got me interested in it! As I got older and went online, I found websites where I got constantly inspired and kept going with it! (Part of the reason I’m so determined with improving on my art, as well, is to make my dad proud, even with him only looking over us from above.)
-Art is aaalways hard to learn/progress with in some way, hehe! Was hard for me to get my anatomy/hands down, but “practice practice practice” makes perfect! … Er, well, as perfect as one can try to get!
-I have downloaded extra brushes for SAI these past few months! I’ve lost the links I initially got mines from, but I mainly searched them all from dA!
-And gosh, thank you so much! <:) I don’t think I’m great, but very flattered at the thought! <3
I don’t have anymore drawings of Roger I’m afraid, but.. he is a pretty fun-wacky guy, hm? Would be fun to draw him more, for sure! <3
