AH, almost forgot to mention!

I contacted the seller a while after making this post and it seems there may have been slight misunderstanding.

Apparently there’s a website that offers free t-shirt designs and the ‘Good Night at Freddy’s’ pic is on there?

While I’m flattered that picture seems worthy enough of being on a shirt, folks, I would prefer if no one tried to advertise it as such. That picture was not intended to be made, let alone sold, as a shirt. If you came and asked for my permission to print it on your own shirt without intention to make any sort of profit from it, I’d likely say yes.

But aside from this. if anyone happens to know what this site it, I would appreciate knowing so I could ask to have that image removed. The vast majority of FNAF art I make is made just for fun and more so to let others view and nothing more. And I’d hope that others could respect that.

Honestly, if they are at least mentioning my name, it would be pretty foolish of me to ask to have them… removed or something along those lines. <X)

Granted, some of these pics seem to be directly traced, and I would prefer if folks who did that with my art didn’t post it anywhere (even if giving credit). But I’m not too entirely sure, and at best, the least I would ask is if this person at least included links to the specific picture they got their “ideas” from.

Ah, and friendly (and likely needed reminder ‘cause I haven’t mentioned this for a while), but while I’ve indefinitely stopped posting FNAF art here, I can say for certain that the designs I made for Foxy and Chica kids won’t be seen from me again, due to attempts at making different characters out of them (alongside trying to make my FNAF character as something completely different). ^^;

I know I say this with any other form of theft, but it’s pretty essential that this be taken down. This image was not make to be sold in any way, has not been approved by Scott to have been sold in any form, and I do not want folks to buy this from someone that did not make this (let alone let them profit from it).

Aye.. that’s definitely not a fun position to be in at all. Honestly, I don’t recall ever being in the ‘genuine’ position of ridicule myself. (Teasing with friends/acquaintances, of course,done before, but never legitimately with someone I didn’t personally know.) 

It’s understandable if you feel as if you want to go away from that place of ridicule, but I don’t think you should do it.

To be fair, not everyone likes the same character that everyone else may like. So much that they actually dislike them. And I mean this for any character, not just FNAF. It’s understandable if it is upsetting to you that someone may not like what you like (especially if for no apparent reason(?)), but they do have a right to their opinion. It likely is natural for some to take a response/reaction like yours and think nothing of it, perhaps even find it humorous.

Granted, I don’t think going so far as to make any poll, much less general public announcement about it that can be on their page for however long they wanted, was a mature thing to do on their part. But eh, I wouldn’t be driven to leave a website entirely about it.

Ah, apologies if my thoughts here don’t help you at all. Again, I don’t recall being in this position before, so I could only imagine at best! But I’m pretty sure I’d stick around, just maybe steer clear of that particular person for a while when that ridicule passes. :)
