Not an annoyance at all! Real flattered at the curiosity with the extent of my art history. <:)

But, I started drawing on a regular basis when I was at least… 10, I believe it was.

Around the age of 12 was when I started having more freedom to access the Internet at home and began to find art websites and such. My mother also got me my first drawing tablet (being one of those fairly cheap ones you could find at an electronics store for maybe twently-ish dollars or so; no pen pressure or special features/shortcuts to them, though). From then on, I took up digital art on a more regular basis, and pretty much drew EVERY day.

When I was 13, I eventually earned enough money to buy Paint Tool SAI (my current drawing program) and, well… here I am. :)

I like to think I was like all other aspiring artists when starting at a young age; I would draw my favorite cartoon characters I’d see on TV before eventually doodling my own ‘characters’ straight out of my head, and just keep at it. And I can’t stress enough along with any other artist when I say that drawing every single day is crucial to improving your art at a steady and (I use this term very loosely) 'faster’ rate.

I don’t consider myself a pro at art, as I’ve still got TONS to learn myself. (And I constantly have days where I feel my quality drops significantly compared to what may have been a previously amazing art day. Not 'art block’, but just… something happens to my drawing hand, I suppose.) But I hope my lil input/telling of how I got started helps give some insight! It’s never too late to start learning; just keep it at it now, and you’ll go a loong way before you know it! <3
