Aye.. that’s definitely not a fun position to be in at all. Honestly, I don’t recall ever being in the ‘genuine’ position of ridicule myself. (Teasing with friends/acquaintances, of course,done before, but never legitimately with someone I didn’t personally know.) 

It’s understandable if you feel as if you want to go away from that place of ridicule, but I don’t think you should do it.

To be fair, not everyone likes the same character that everyone else may like. So much that they actually dislike them. And I mean this for any character, not just FNAF. It’s understandable if it is upsetting to you that someone may not like what you like (especially if for no apparent reason(?)), but they do have a right to their opinion. It likely is natural for some to take a response/reaction like yours and think nothing of it, perhaps even find it humorous.

Granted, I don’t think going so far as to make any poll, much less general public announcement about it that can be on their page for however long they wanted, was a mature thing to do on their part. But eh, I wouldn’t be driven to leave a website entirely about it.

Ah, apologies if my thoughts here don’t help you at all. Again, I don’t recall being in this position before, so I could only imagine at best! But I’m pretty sure I’d stick around, just maybe steer clear of that particular person for a while when that ridicule passes. :)
