Hehe, probably for the many already stated reasons that others have mentioned about the show!

Wonderful style/animations, great character designs, awesome story, deep and meaningful morals, etc.! I just really love it! <3

And this may be a bit more bias, but I really appreciate the fact that there’s technically a same-sex couple on a show aimed towards younger audiences. ^^

(Or, er… *same-gender, if that wording is more preferred? I’m aware about the gems being genderless characters that just happen to take on more feminine looks/female pronouns, but I’m so simplistic, I refer the gems as girls anyhow. Not my intention to offend with my choice of words on this sort of thing, I’m definitely not the most well informed person on this sort of stuff. My apologies if I do, though!)
