where I dump my scribbles
Well this isn't much of a question, just a little something I would like to say to you. I've noticed that people have been giving you a hard time about you drawing FNAF and telling you not to draw it. At least I think that's what they're saying. I absolutely love your FNAF drawings and would be so thrilled if you started drawing it again. Just remember to ignore those haters and do what you love!

Oh no no, it’s not at all that folks have been telling me to not draw it. It’s bad stuff that’s been going on with it, and I chose to stop. (And when may I come back to it? Who knows! But certainly won’t be anytime soon. :) )

And, while I do still love the game/stuff that’s come from it from the fans, it was getting fairly repetitive for me. I do appreciate you (and other folks) liking my work related to the game, though, thank you, :)

So wait, Valentine’s Day is near… ARE YOU GOING…

I know it’s hard Orlandofox but ur fans love ur Fnaf u shouldn’t jus stop becuz of people stealing it.Any1 who duz we report. We got your back.U can’t let stuf like that get to u ur strong.I’m sure people steal ur other wrk too but we got your back!

And I appreciate that. But there’s an ask I actually happened to answer recent that was similar to this comment that expresses my thoughts on this still.

(I know I’ve apologized for this a ridiculous amount of times, let alone mentioned previous posts like this would cease, but I’m pretty sure this will be the last time I publicly make mention about m no longer drawing FNAF work for an undetermined amount of time.

Plus, folks, I don’t want to seem like I’m stressing this enough, but I do not consider myself an FNAF artist. Yes, I’ve drawn a number of pieces that may relate/refer back to the game, but that is not all I draw. Nor is it all I’d really want folks to expect out of me.

Even if I jumped back on board with drawing Five Nights at Freddy’s art, I’m pretty sure I would not have stuck with it for much longer (and definitely not forever). It’s a great game and has brought out wonderful, creative things from people. And I can’t thank Scott enough for that. He deserves much praise for this game.

But the things people would do with the work I/others created; I am not at all okay with. At all. Thus, I chose to simply stop.

Again, I appreciate you folks liking my FNAF art (as that may be what even got you to find my work in the first place), but I just want to stop with it for a long amount of time.

I appreciate the concern, though, thank you. :)

hi, Orlando, it's me again, I have to say, I'm really sad about you stopping posting fnaf stuff, I literally started my tumblr account to follow you, to follow your awesome art, I know how it is to get something you've made stolen, but you can't let yourself down just because of that, you have lots of fans that admire you, you can count on us to help you, don't be afraid of being stolen, if you're afraid of everything that might happen to you, you won't do anything of your life anymore

Aye, I apologize to disappoint. It really isn’t my intention to make those that may like my FNAF art upset. But given what would reoccur with it, I wanted to stop it. And by all means, I’m aware there are quite a few folks out there who have actually helped me with these thefts/tracings. (Heck, I would not have known/been aware of pretty much all of them without you folks, and I can’t thank you enough.) But that also made me feel a bit guilty and apologetic to folks.

Guilty, because it was happening fairly often and I don’t want anyone to start being annoyed if they find themselves wanting to inform me of this same problem over and over again.

And apologetic, because my Tumblr would become more of a place for informing of thefts of my art, rather than the art itself, and I’m sure that’s not what folks like to see.

Though, I haven’t stopped posting all my art here. As I’ve mentioned before I’m not just a ‘FNAF artist’, and it certainly isn’t all I draw. It doesn’t tend to pop up as frequent as my Five Nights work, but that’s because I’m not used to regularly posting anything else here. :)

An artist can only expect themselves to be at risk of art theft the very moment they post something online, no matter who they are. Granted, this is not some kind of obligated thing that should have to happen to every one that posts online, but it unfortunately can still happen. But by all means, that definitely doesn’t keep me from doing what I enjoy doing most. Especially if I’d like to make a living out of it as well, at that.

I appreciate the concern, though, thank you! <3

(Just to keep you guys informed as well, I’ve just cleared out my ask inbox, as I’ve had waaay too many backed up messages of various sorts, and I should probably try to be more organized in that department. :)

Tumblr’s never been on my list of ‘priorities’ before several months ago, because of Five Nights, and even now I’m still not used to having to check here for mesages now as well. But, I’m trying to work on that, so what better way than to start fresh? I greatly appreciate any/all messages I’ve recieved before as well, folks! It means a lot! <3)

Wait could we ask if you can draw our ocs and stuff or I misunderstood what you said?

Friendly reminder that I don’t do requests for OCs/personal characters, folks. More so characters from franchises, be it TV shows, video games, etc. And again, I take these kind of asks into consideration, and as drawing suggestions. Wouldn’t exactly be right of me if I called these requests when I choose to do some at any possible time, hehe. :)

(My FAQ may forever be a W.I.P., but there is a link to that page on my profile! If it’s not to much to ask of folks, it does help to look there first and possibly have a commonly asked question answered!) :)

You're able to use Flash yet you don't know how to use Photoshop? What is this sorcery?

Haha, I actually wouldn’t say I know all that much about Flash!

Again, I wasn’t able to work with Photoshop for a long enough period of time to try and adjust to it, and it’s been years since I last tried. The newer versions of any Adobe product seem to be so much for me, as well.

Flash, I’ve actually constantly found trials of before and tried to look through. After some experience with messing with the tools myself, watching others stream their animation methods with it, some tutorials, and generally watching other Flash animations, I was kinda confident to just jump into it. :)

I’m sure if I eventually try to learn an earlier version of PS (like CS4 that a friend happened to give to me about several days ago), I could possibly get it! But even then, I’ve never really had any purpose for Photoshop. Everything I’ve needed art-wise I’ve always been able to do in Paint Tool SAI. Even recently after using Manga Studio 5 more and more, I’ve had another method for adding words on various font types! <:’D

(… Also, I just realized I’ve never made mention of it here; yes, I’ve been trying to make animations and stuff with Flash fairly recently. I’ve been switching back and forth between two very small things right now, one of which is a GG Animated that’s almost done with being roughly sketched out! It’s been very lovely practice in trying to practice storyboards/key poses, though Storyboard Pro from ToonBoom seems like more of my program for that sort of thing. But I’ve just been learning as I go with it! It’s been fun! <3)

Listen, one person on youtube did video of your comics with booky x chica and put title "foxy x chica" and now everybody in coments are wondering why "foxy" is female and when somebody try to explain this they yell at them. Not sure if it's ok to you

Ah.. honestly, yes, that kind of frustrates me, given where said person could have originally found the audio at one point and the description of things. I’ve hidden all art/audio posts related to Booky, so you couldn’t find it again as proof, but I’m still a bit confused as to why folks automatically assume Booky to be ‘female Foxy’.

I’m pretty sure if I actually were to draw Foxy as a female, I wouldn’t change how I initially draw him (make the ears bigger, cheek fluff tips rounder, etc.). And considering my FNAF stuff apparently gets around a lot, I’d assume that one could easily deduce this. But… people are people. Better folks see her as Foxy than trying to claim her as their own, I suppose. <:X

(Which is why I still don’t post, much less make much, art of Booky anymore.)

Appreciate you wanting to let me know about this, thank you. :)

Hey girlie! well I must say what an amazing artist you are. I'm sure you've heard it A LOT but you really are and you've inspired me so much. I'm just going through a rough patch. I see your amazing art and I just get so discouraged. I want to find my own style but I honestly feel stuck, I would really love to hear what you have to say.

Heyheya! Aww, gosh, thank you so much! Really flattered by that! And more so at the thought of me being an inspiration to you. <:)

Though I do apologize, as discouragement is not my intention. <:X I’d say try not to feel any sort of discouragement/any other negative feeling, though!

Really, as I’d say to other folks, you just have to keep drawing. That’s the practice of art in itself! And as long as your consistent in it, you can improve in good time! And this may be considered a personal thing, but if I happen to see art from those I admire/others that really do have better art skill than me, I get inspired. It practically influences me to want to pick up a pencil and draw more, with hope that maybe I can get to their level one day, but in my particular style.

And style is something that tends to form itself along the way as you draw. With improvements shall come the build up of it, I guarantee you. :)

Do try not to get stuck! Use that inspiration you may get from seeing other artists work and use it to your advantage! It can be easy to feel discouraged, perhaps even feel intimidated, but you’ve gotta have that confidence! <3

Hi!Have you ever got jumpscared by Bonnie if you ever played the first five nights at freddy's?

Heyheya!

Hehe, in the second game, nah! I was fairly accustomed to expecting jumps from everyone, as I quickly realized what my screw ups could be!

The first game? Aah, I can say that Bonnie (and Chica) tended to catch me off guard. <:’D

I think someone is stealing your art or posing as you again? (Sorry, I don't wanna ruin your day with the art theft thing) But there is a user called_orlando_fox_ on instagram. They havent posted anything, and by the looks of it, they just started there instagram account. Possibly the other poser moving?

orlandofox:

(Not ruining at all! Again folks, I do appreciate anyone taking time out of their precious days to want to inform me about this. It really does help. <:) )

Are you referring to this account?

This actually does seem like a fan page of some sort, given the description and few photos they’re posted now informing of the name. Granted, it could be confusion by the account’s name choice/lack of a link of some kind, but I’m fairly certain this isn’t an attempt at impersonation. And.. I’m flattered that this seems to be a thing. I still don’t see my artwork as appealing as some folks have told me it is, but thank you guys. :)

And thank you for letting me know about this! <3

(Yet… not to be nitpicky and seem ungrateful for this, folks, but if you are going to make accounts like this, I would appreciate it being more than a variation on either of my aliases (OrlandoFox/TheDoggyGal).

Mainly as it wouldn’t cause confusion on what kind of account it may try to show itself as, but also won’t risk fooling anyone that it is actually me. <:) Thank you!)
